Jaisalmer War Museum
The Honor Walls at Jaisalmer War Museum with the names of Gallantry Award victors scratched for family. The Jaisalmer War Museum was realized by Lieutenant General Bobby Mathews, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Desert Corps and created by the Desert Corps of the Indian Army. It was committed to the Nation by Lieutenant General Ashok Singh, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, Indian Army, on 24 August 2015. The Museum shows war displays that incorporate vehicles and hardware caught over the span of tasks in 1965 and 1971. The Jaisalmer War Museum, prominently known as JWM, has an Honor Wall engraved with the names of the Param Vir Chakra and Maha Vir Chakra heroism grant victors, two enormous Information Display Halls - Indian Army Hall and Laungewala Hall, an Audio Visual Room, a keepsake shop and a cafeteria.
